November is another split month. The first three weeks offer LOW to MODERATE crowds - a second-chance summer alternative. Then Thanksgiving explodes to EXTREME. Choose your dates carefully.
| Week | Dates | Crowd Level | Reason | Tip |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Nov 1-7 | Moderate 5 | Early November | Good visiting conditions. Schools in session. Holiday events beginning. |
| Week 2 | Nov 8-14 | Low 4 | Mid-November | Often overlooked - one of the better weeks of the second half of the year. |
| Week 3 | Nov 15-21 | Moderate 6 | Pre-Thanksgiving buildup | Crowds begin building as Thanksgiving travel starts. |
| Week 4 | Nov 22-28 | Extreme 10 | Thanksgiving week | The busiest non-Christmas week of the year. Avoid if possible. |
| Week 5 | Nov 29-30 | High 8 | Post-Thanksgiving | Still HIGH as holiday travel wraps up. |
EPCOT shines in early to mid-November - the Festival of Holidays begins, and the park is festively decorated without yet being at Christmas-level crowds. Animal Kingdom is the quietest Disney park all month.
Nov 1-14 is a terrific window. Between the end of October Halloween events and the Thanksgiving rush, early-to-mid November is consistently underrated.
Thanksgiving week (Nov 22-28) is the worst week of November. If you must visit during Thanksgiving, book everything 60-90 days in advance.
EPCOT is especially worth a visit in November. The Festival of Holidays decorations in World Showcase are stunning, and the park runs at moderate crowds outside Thanksgiving week.
