Which Park Is Best in September?

Every park benefits enormously in September. Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure at Islands of Adventure - which normally has the longest wait in all of Orlando - can be done with 20-40 minute waits in September. Avatar Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom can drop under 30 minutes.

September Tips

1

September 6-26 is the best multi-week stretch of 2026. Crowd level 2 means walk-on waits for rides that normally require 60-90 minute waits. You can realistically ride everything twice in a day.

2

Perfect for first-time visitors. If someone in your family hasn't been before, September gives them the experience of a magical day without the misery of crowd management.

3

Book hotels early - September is a secret no more. While September crowds are LOW, the planning community knows about this. Good hotels still book up. Reserve 3-6 months ahead.
